Erpro Group Partners with AMFG to optimise world-class AM offering

Erpro Group and AMFG are pleased to announce the commencement of their strategic partnership, combining Erpro’s pioneering additive manufacturing operations and expertise into collaboration with AMFG’s market-leading MES & workflow software.
French 3D print service bureau Erpro Group is a leading provider of plastic components via both additive manufacturing, CNC and injection moulding, with a volume scope ranging from prototypes right through to large series production. The first French partner of digital manufacturing company Carbon, Erpro Group has consistently excelled since its 1997 establishment, developing strategic supplier relationships with blue-chip brands such as Peugeot, Decathlon and Chanel. Offering a broad selection of AM technologies, alongside CNC machining, plastic injection moulding and a host of other engineering services, the company presents a manufacturing portfolio spanning a multitude of key applications.
As Erpro Group’s AM operations continued to scale, it became imperative to identify a combined digital solution facilitating full AM workflow, through which their diverse operations could be comprehensively conducted. Like many businesses of their dimension, Erpro were managing incumbent legacy products and felt the need to partner with a technology organiser who could meet their current and future challenges.
After flying out to Paris to discuss Erpro’s requirements face-to-face, AMFG launched a thorough Proof-of-Concept project involving the simulation of Erpro Group’s entire workflow. Over the course of three months, the company was afforded an all-encompassing understanding of the software’s capabilities and compatibility with their processes, firmly sealing the decision to go forward with a partnership at its conclusion. AMFG’s customisable end-to-end workflow automation solution proved its capability to power all four of the companies contained within Erpro Group, providing a platform and roadmap aligning with its overarching strategic direction. In addition to the software’s capacities, the diligence, professionalism and commitment of AMFG’s team distinguished the company from other contenders, particularly in their collaborative approach to delivering their Proof-of-Concept project successfully.
Reflecting on the partnership and the engagement thus far with AMFG, Erpro CEO Cyrille Vue said: “As a leader in mass production 3D printing, it was crucial for the Erpro Group to take the next step to automate a large part of our workflow. That’s why we chose to work with AMFG, whose experience in automation solutions will help us optimise our additive manufacturing process.”
Eleonore Caby, AMFG’s Enterprise Business Development Director for Northern Europe added: “The signature of Erpro represents great success for AMFG. This is a world-leading AM organisation, with complete understanding of the process and ingredients needed to be successful in this industry. Their desire to partner with AMFG validates our absolute credibility in this space, and we cannot wait to deliver the shared benefits of the partnership as we move forward.”
