LaMaquina and External Reference, 3d printed Pure Plants
Pure.Tech technology generates purifying plants
Description
Pure Plants is the family of 3D-printed plants designed and conceived by External Reference and produced by LaMáquina. LaMáquina is an advanced manufacturing centre, pioneering innovative solutions for the 3D printing industry. Within this facility, projects are developed that combine advanced and sustainable materials with innovative printing strategies. Each piece produced through 3D printing at LaMáquina reflects the perfect synergy between craftsmanship and advanced manufacturing. Made with the innovative material, PURE.TECH, the printed plants have the unique ability to adsorb and eliminate harmful greenhouse gases, converting them into environmentally friendly byproducts. Pure.Tech is comprised of 100% natural minerals, and is combined with PLA, a bioplastic polymer made from sugar. The combination creates a completely natural mineral compound, which is capable of absorbing and neutralising CO2, nitrogen oxides (NOx), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Pure Plants is an innovative initiative aimed at promoting sustainability and improving the air quality we breathe through the use of advanced technology and a creative approach.
