Invent Medical created the Raptor Mask to bring a 100% customizable protective mask onto the market. Based on a 3D scan of the face, the task is tailored and takes into account the site and type of injury and what sport is being played. The performance of the mask was tested in labs, using various strengths of impact to simulate the most demanding game situations - with PA’s properties of flexibility and the ability to withstand significant impact making it the natural material choice. The company use HP Jet Fusion 4200 technology, leveraging powder based industrial grade 3D printing to comply with medical regulations and ensure premium quality. The Raptor mask design was awarded Red Dot 2020 Design Award, recognition of its unique combination of advanced design and function; it has been also chosen to be featured in the collection of Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, Germany - the oldest design museum in the world. Raptor Mask is trusted by elite athletes, including those playing in the NBA, MLB, Premier League, WWE and is used by Olympic medal contenders.
