Description

Tanaruz is the world's first 3D-printing luxourous shipbuilding company that uses recyclable plastic for its boats. They offer four boat models ranging from 4.5 to 10 meters, allowing customers to personalize their vessels with electric motors, batteries, and solar panels, as well as choose colors, interiors, and equipment. Traditional boat manufacturing is labor-intensive and costly. By utilizing 3D printing technology, Tanaruz reduces production costs and offers more affordable yachts, with an entry-level model priced at around €54,000. These boats are made from reclaimed polypropylene (PP) with 30% glass fiber, showcasing their commitment to circular economic principles. Tanaruz uses a specialized 3D printer from ABB, known for its speed, precision, and flexibility, optimized for boat production. The extruder melts and extrudes the reclaimed polymers to Tanaruz's specifications. This technology enhances accuracy, reduces production time, minimizes waste, and aligns with circular economy principles, reducing environmental impact.
